Our Story
Established in the late 1980s and now proudly run by the children of the founders, Westgate Sports & Leisure Centre has grown from a local sports facility to a thriving hub of sports, recreation, and well-being. Our journey has been fuelled by a passion for community, a commitment to excellence, and a desire to offer diverse, high-quality sports and wellness experiences.
A long-standing Legacy of fun, community & wellness
Our journey began with a vision to create a space where community and wellness combine. The opening of our centre marked a significant milestone, symbolised by this plaque commemorating our humble beginnings. Over the years, Westgate Sports & Leisure Centre has evolved, but our commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive hub for sports, leisure, and wellbeing remains.
